DECCS Information Center
The Defense Export Control and Compliance System (DECCS) is being implemented, beginning in November 2016, to modernize the Government to Business (G2B) and Government to Government (G2G) electronic systems that support the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). The DDTC IT modernization team is using an agile approach to software development concentrating on producing one module at a time and releasing each module for use as soon as it is ready. DECCS is based on revamped, streamlined business processes which will include CJs, Registration and Licensing. After all DECCS modules are deployed, several of the existing systems will be retired such as DTrade, EFS, MARY, ELLIE.
The Commodity Jurisdiciton (CJ) application is the first release of the Defence Export Control and Compliance System (DECCS). DECCS is a web-based application which provides DDTC's industry users with the ability to electronically complete, sign and submit a CJ. On sucessful submisison users will immediatly receive their CJ case number.
